August 2000: Ex-Cat women! Former Catapult coworkers Ann, Michelle, Julie W., me, Maggie, and Julie Mac at Julie W.'s wedding, held at the Rose Garden at the Seattle Zoo. | Charlie Girl has discovered a new oasis: Padilla Bay in Anacortes has a two-mile trail along it where she can smell everything from the wildberries that line the trail to blue heron and seagull droppings, her favorite by far. |
Pam and friend Lee Ann walked the streets of the Anacortes Arts Festival this summer. |
June 2000: Pam's friends Lee Ann and John at their wedding on Lake Union in Seattle. (Try not to notice that I wore the same dress to two weddings this summer.) |
Me and Rick Steves! Rick is a travel writer and has a TV show on PBS called "Travels in Europe." I've been a fan of his for years. I recently learned that he lives in Edmonds, Wa., which is right near where I used to live in Mountlake Terrace. This picture was taken at the grand opening of Rick's new travel store in Edmonds called Europe Through the Back Door (ETBD web site). I also got him to autograph his London travel book for me.
