Patty's Day Dash, Seattle
Me, Lee Ann, and her husband John ran in the annual Dash. The race starts at one Irish bar, TS McHugh's (near Space Needle), and ends at another, FX McRory's (near Safeco Field). It's a 3.5-mile jaunt. While running along the Seattle streets, I noticed some earthquake
damage, including the crumbled remains of the Fenix Underground
nightclub (Jason and I used to go there quite a bit when we lived in
Mountlake Terrace). Incidentally, this picture was taken after the race at the King 5 News booth. They took free digital pictures of racers and posted them on their web site afterwards. What a great idea! |
