The Hoh Rain Forest is located on the Olympic Peninsula. It's part of the Olympic National Park.

Tree branches draped in moss are ubiquitous in the forest. The trees can absorb huge amounts of water.

The "Hall of Mosses." The forest gets about 150 inches of rain a year, and the temperature is mild, rarely getting above 80 degrees or below freezing.

Most trees in the Hoh Rain Forest are at least 500 years old.

Jason and his parents admiring the clear, but cold water of the Sol-Duc River. The Sol Duc Hot Springs are not far away, however. Sol Duc Falls. We expected a lot of rain during our visit to the rainforest, but were disappointed with large amounts of sunshine and rainbows.
