For our fifth wedding anniversary, Jason and I decided to go to Europe. We limited our itinerary to just two countries and three cities so we could explore at an normal pace (my original and over-optimistic itinerary included five countries and seven cities!). Our 10-day excursion took us to Munich, Salzburg, and Vienna, which are all in close proximity via train. Overall, our trip was great but we did run into some rainy November weather. But the plus side of visiting Europe during the off-season is fewer tourists; in fact during our visit to Hohensalzburg Fortress, we had the entire place to ourselves!
